Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

New Application

When you submit your completed application, it will be reviewed by one of our Talent Acquisition Team. If they feel your experience and skill set is a good fit with our needs for the position, they will progress you to the next stage, Hiring Manager review. You can be assured that your application will be screened by a person, not a system or algorithm. If you are unsuccessful at this stage we'll email you to let you know.
Stage 2

Hiring Manager Review

At this stage, the Hiring Manager for the role - the person you will report to if you are successful - will review your application in detail and decide whether to progress you to a discovery call or an interview. We will contact you via email to book that in if we want to progress, or if you are unsuccessful at this stage we'll email you to let you know.
Stage 3

Discovery Call

Sometimes, we will want to talk to you to understand a bit more about your background and experience, before deciding whether to progress to a formal interview. A discovery call is a 20-30 minute, informal, unstructured chat over a phone call or video call to get to know you a little better and help us make that decision. We don't use these for every role - sometimes we go straight to interview. If you've been successful at this stage, we'll contact you to book in an interview, or if you haven't been successful we'll let you know.  We aim to give all candidates personalised feedback at this stage.
Stage 4

First Interview

This is the first formal, structured part of the interview process. We usually do our interviews remotely over Microsoft Teams, but for some roles we may ask you to come into one of our offices. Typically the interview will be led by the Hiring Manager, supported by a colleague. Interviews will focus on your experience, skills, knowledge, achievements, motivation and character fit, along with your understanding of the role and our company. We will usually ask you for examples from your past to illustrate that you have a particular skill or capability. If you've been successful at this stage, we'll contact you to book in a second interview or make you a job offer, or if you haven't been successful we'll let you know. We aim to give all candidates personalised feedback at this stage.
Stage 5

Second Interview

This is the second formal, structured part of the interview process. We usually do our interviews remotely over Microsoft Teams, but for some roles we may ask you to come into one of our offices. Typically the interview will be conducted by different people to the first stage. Second interviews will build on our discussions at first stage, going deeper into critical parts of your experience and addressing any areas of concern from the first stage. Sometimes we might ask you to present to us on a relevant topic. We don't always do second interviews - sometimes we will offer after first stage. If you've been successful at this stage, we'll contact you to make you a job offer, or if you haven't been successful we'll let you know. We aim to give all candidates personalised feedback at this stage.
Stage 6

Job Offer

This is the best part! We'll call you to let you know you've been successful, and will give you a run down of the terms of the offer. We'll then follow that up with a written offer letter and contract via email for you to review. If, as we hope, you choose to join us, you'll be able to sign your offer electronically.
Stage 7

Hired

After you've signed your contract, we'll remain in regular touch with you prior to your start, to help you prepare for your first day. We'll make sure you have all the equipment you need - if you are working remotely we'll have it couriered to you - and that you know what to expect on day one.
